Why would Wernickie let the Murkof soldiers open fire at Miles? He was the one that told Miles to murder "Billy" anyways so why would he just kill him.
To prevent Miles from leaking any information to the outside world. Park leaked it to him in the first place and Upshur was set on exposing Murkoff's activities. Rudolf was hoping that the two would take each other out or buy time till backup got there.
I don't know the modern law on human experimentation. But I'm sure that the Murkoff experiments and treatment of the patients would be illegal. So if long the coorperations still had enough members it can silence anyone who tried to reveal any knowledge. Which would be conspiracy I think.
Wernicke didn't want his lifes work revealed because he KNEW it was bad. Then discovering Miles was the host of the Walrider I'm sure Wernicke finally paid for his crimes...☠
Waylon was right...to look for help in exposing Murkoff and I know he didn't want to or mean to get caught but what makes the story so much more..."sad" is that Miles came to help and lost hinself in Mount Massive while Waylon made it out; exposing the truth about Murkoff on his own- Without Miles' footage. I mourned so hard for Miles after I beat Whistleblower. Its messed up that when you really think about it, Miles didnt need to come to Mount Massive to begin with cause by then Waylon already had the footage being collected.
I've always wondered what Miles was thinking when he saw Waylon run out of the asylum and hop into his car. Probably something along the lines of, "Make sure I didn't die for nothing." Really with Red Barrells would release a comic focused on the Characters lives before Murkoff.
What do you think?
