I just told you why; different place, different time, no interest in each other. If you wanna more literal reason, Gluskin clearly didn't exist prior to Whistleblower and was an afterthought for the DLC.
NewGen your totally wrong mate. The two games overlap, so timings and such would still exist and coincide with each other. Trager never left the Male Ward, he lured people in to perform his 'surgery'. The only way into the Male Ward from Vocational block was through that one door you have to unlock, and that leads to the bottom floor. Trager was on the first/second floor. They were both very smart, so they kept themselves away from each other.
That's pure speculation, there's nothing within the game's lore that implies the two ever knew of each and like I've said in my previous post, you can simply chalk it down to the fact that Eddie was an afterthought for the DLC and didn't exist prior to his Whistleblower debut. You can even see this when other Variants allude to both Trager and Gluskin throughout the game and its DLC respectively, yet never speak of the other one. It's also worth to point out that neither Richard nor Eddie make any mention of each other.
We also don't know the building's entire layout. There are clearly different paths to access the Vocational Block, but they're often kept obscure and rendered as separate levels, which makes it hard to get a detailed blueprint of the asylum.
I agree with everything you said there. But I do think Eddie and Rick just couldn't be bothered to get out of their respective areas...
In normal circumstances, yes. But, unfortunately, we don't really have much to go on as of now, like what they did for the entire day while the asylum was in chaos. Maybe the devs will go into more detail one day or somehow revisit the asylum in the upcoming game.
My theory, obviously Eddie was in the Morphogenic engine, and I guess Trager was in one of the rooms in the Male ward or some place like that. When the Walrider escaped, I guess all security went to contain it, and the variants went insane... although that doesn't explain why Eddie has like 50 people tied to the roof of vocational... I have no idea how he managed to get that done in about 4-6 hours...
Well, in the comics, we see Trager get forced into the Engine as well, so they might have had a special location for testing purposes, maybe somewhere in the Prison section. If I recall correctly, a few hours passed between Waylon getting caught and the actual incident, so their locations post breakout are left to speculation.
I'd say Eddie's gymnasium was just done for shock value, those are too many bodies for a single person to string up, not to mention that he never got tired whilst doing it for an entire day. We could say he possibly had some help, as Dennis rants to himself about giving Gluskin his "brides" in exchange for the Groom sparing him.
Good point actually. It was around a week (from Waylon getting caught to the incident) if I can remember correctly. There is a document about Waylon's wife complaining and wanting information, which says it has been a week without information from his employers. (Murkoff)
I think the exchange between Waylon's wife and the Murkoff staff occurred during his work days, since the beginning of Whistleblower states that Waylon was caught only two hours before being strapped into the chair, right as the outbreak happened. The dates are kind of confusing in this series overall, like, there's one document that's supposedly dated a whole day after the incident had taken place.
Haha... this is above me! Thanks man :)
What do you think?
