I feel cleaned, as if by fire and bleach. A cleansing on an atomic level. I have been as much patient as doctor, and I had to be annihilated. Joel 2:30, wonders in the sky and on the earth. Blood, fire, and columns of smoke.
My families, born and found, are both gone. My life's work is in shambles. My chosen children try to ESCAPE from me, when all I wanted was to help them. Everyone is against me. I am nothing. I am a scorched shadow on the wall where a man used to be. I am a column of smoke.
And I am focused. Nothing has been this clear in a long time. I feel like a sphere whose every point is its center. If I can be so thoroughly destroyed and still live, I can do anything. Nothing matters. Anything is possible. Anything is permitted. The Trials are just beginning."
