For me, content this year has been slim to say the least. Recording games with little content updates or with long and boring storylines + campaigns is a struggle for anybody, and having to put a smile on my face for 20 minutes a day and pretend I'm having fun is by no mean healthy. Moving on into 2022, my goals have changed to make things easier for me, and more enjoyable for me and my audience.
For 2022, I've decided to branch out, and begin posting Outlast speed-runs, guides, tips and tricks etc, as this is what I've found a passion for over the last year. Fearful as it is being a small YouTuber, I feel like posting content I'm not happy recording or editing is not a healthy practice, so hopefully this new goal and new attitude will hel…

Just a heads up, the title is just a joke. And yes, this post is inspired by Fireworks888's blog.
I just realized that Outlast is quite similar to the film Alien: Resurrection, a 1997 science-fiction action horror film involving a shady research agency (does this remind you of anything?) breeding Xenomorphs to study, research, and presumably militarize (...) on the spaceship USM Auriga, using human hosts (sound familar?) kidnapped and delivered to them by a group of mercenaries. Of course, the Aliens eventually breakout and cause havoc across the station (obvious similarity is obvious). It was the fourth installment in the Alien film series and the final installment of the original series.
The similarities are quite constant, and I'm fairly ce…
Hi My Name Is Shahzaib Mujahid Khan. I Am 11 Year Old welcome your kind and friendly suggestions to improve this page. Thank you all.I love the Uncharted When I was 8 AND 11 Year old I like the OUTLAST AND OUTLAST2 I am A bigger Fan Of This Game
Anyone think that there is a connection between these two Gospels? Haven't done much research myself, love to hear your opinions and theories.
The way I see it, both Father Martin and Papa Knoth had a fixation with God causing them to hear him with the help of Murkoffs psychological influences. I know they both had a connection of seeing/hearing gods instruction through static.
With the recent release of Outlast 2, we thought now would be a good time to celebrate the trilogy of games from Red Barrels. The three games have provided fans with incredible atmospheric storytelling and lost sleep. From terrifying enemies, to a deep seeded plot -- Outlast is a staple to the horror genre for video games.
Feel free to share what you voted for in a comment below and tell us why your choice is the right one! :P
In the beginning of Outlast: Whistleblower, Waylon sends the email to Miles. After debugging an Error Code 16 at the Morphogenic Engine (also seeing Eddie Gluskin being forced into the spheres and experimented on), Waylon is ambushed by Jeremy Blaire and 3 guards. Blaire orders the guards to knock Waylon unconscious with a punch, the butt of a gun and a kicks. Roughly 2 hours later, he is forced to watch the Morphogenic Engine, also being tortured by Andrew, a scientist.
An unknown amount of time later, Billy Hope takes control of the Walrider and began slaughtering the staff. In the chaos, many of the patients including Waylon escape, adding to the chaos.
Security forces were unable to quell the attacks and so the first Murkoff Tactical Div…
(Just a heads up, the title is just a joke)
This blog is pretty useless but I just realized how similar Outlast is to the SCP Foundation, a 2008 creative-fiction site about this shady research agency that contains abominations (sound familiar?). It was popularized by a fan-made game adaption, SCP - Containment Breach. Like, REALLY similar. Most of you probably don't know what SCP is to begin with, so the secondary goal of this blog is to advertise a bit.
The similarities are so constant and huge I'm almost positive Outlast is slightly based off SCP. What's funny is that Outlast's developers are in cahoots with Amnesia's developers, and Amnesia's developers are huge fans of SCP and are currently making a game based off it (SOMA). Wouldn't be sur…
Now, obviously there is an incredibly low amount of information on Outlast 2, and so there is nothing to add to it's page. My question, would we be able to add information regarding the demo. If RedBarrels operates the same way they did for the first game, which I'd assume they would, there will most likely be a demo along with videos of the reactions and gameplay. Would this give us anything to add to it's page, or would it not really be enough to be called solid information worthy of being on the wiki?
I love the way Outlast corrosponds with Whistleblower, so I decided to do a timeline detailing just how exactly the timeline works. Please note this is just based off educated guesses and is not official, just how I think the timeline works.
Whistleblower: Underground Lab: Unknown (x) time. Waylon sends an email to Miles and does his engineer job for 5 minutes before being caught.
Whistleblower: Hospital: x + 2 hours. Waylon is put into the Morphogenic Program and the slaughter begins.
Whistleblower: Hospital: x + 2 hours + 50 minutes. Now, this is just a realistic educated guess on how long Waylon spent in the hospital, but I believe he spent around 50 minutes before escaping.
Whistleblower: Recreation Area: Above time at night. Now we now it…
So we have added Achievements and Leaderboards to the wikia. The Achievemnt name and their picture will be custom. You can offer your name for the achievement and picture for that, after that we will select best of your ideas. Thanks!
Hello, this is my theory on what happened in Outlast and Outlast: Whistleblower (In chronological order)
So, Waylon sends an email to Miles. about Mount Massive Asylum, after Waylon fixes the camera in the Morphogenic Engine, he goes back into the server room where he gets forced into the Morphogenic Engine. While Waylon is in the Morphogenic Engine, Miles arrives at the asylum, gets thrown from the second floor by Chris Walker, finds the keycard for the security room, Father Martin shuts of the power.
This is when Waylon escapes the Morphogenic Engine, after Miles turns on the power and tries to open the front doors, Waylon was probably entering the Recreation Area, where he encounters the Twins, at this time Miles gets druge…

Hey, having recently joined this Wiki, I feel as though it is missing an overview of all the levels and locations found in the game, I'll start working on adding the pages first and it would be great if someone could help me with that!
The idea is to gather information and screenshots per page, then add them all together in a neat Location Overview infobox for easy access use somewhere on the Wiki.
Checklist of all the levels-pages to be added:
[ ] Administration Block
[ ] Prison Block
[ ] Sewer
[ ] Male Ward
[ ] Courtyard
[ ] Female Ward
[ ] Underground Lab
- There is a level called "Return to the Administration Block" however we could just put that section on the Administration Block page.
I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this and what would you be really hoping for. Now I know this ain't like an arcade game, where you hope to see your favorite character or something similar to that. What I'm referring to is what elements of game do you want to see in the prequel and the mystery of Walrider, should it be explained a little bit further or should it stay as it is?
Hey there Horror Fans!
I just wanted to let you know of a potentially cool opportunity. Bethesda Softworks is helping Wikia host an Evil Within Sweepstakes. If you make some fan art or similar creation, you can win a video card or an Evil Within poster signed by Shinji Mikami, the mind behind survival horror itself.
Check out the sweepstakes right here!
