I believe Avellanos understands. Lawler less so; he seems to harbor some doubts toward my work, even though he's the one who introduced me to Murkoff. We'll be pitching Lawler for continued funding on Monday.

I found a bible in a soldier's locker. Comforted myself with a little Corinthians. St. Paul understood. Charismatic authority overpowers legality, tradition, and dignity. Charisma can create deep and widespread societal change.

But Paul also said Charisma could only be gifted by God. I disagree. Humans are clay, with no organ wetter and so vulnerable to sculpting as the brain.

What Lawler, what the Agency needs to understand, is that Charisma can be a product. Charisma can be a weapon. ""
