Dead Children is a recording made in Outlast 2.

It is acquired by filming the mass grave of children when going underground in The Crash.

Blake: It was a familiar smell, almost sweet. They... They killed their children.

Trivia

This recording and Blake's comment were initially removed from Outlast 2 to avoid getting an "Adult Only" rating by the ESRB rating board, consequently impacting the game's sales. It was reintroduced with the Story Mode patch on March 27, 2018.^[1]
