I feel so lucky to be alive in an age of miracles, to be exposed to men like Doctor Easterman. And you get to be right there at the center of all his brilliant ideas.
You have to think of the therapy like you're getting a tooth drilled, or some minor surgery. It can be a little uncomfortable, but you'll feel so much better when it's over.

Oh, I have a whole pantry full of benign pharmaceuticals in case you have a snuffle you can't shake, or you're feeling down in the dumps and need a little pep. It's just astounding what the boys down at Murkoff compounding managed to come up with. ( 2 )
The cardiac stimulants are good for a little extra oomph and all the horse play I know you rascals get into out there. It takes a lot of heart to really change.
Now, a lot of these are still experimental but the boys at Murkoff are pretty certain that drugs and the neurostimulant category will sharpen up your mind. I know it can be hard to concentrate with all rumpus in there.

Everything in its right place. Can't have another... incident. There's still blood on the ceiling. Tsk tsk.
...mmm. Necrosis, ischemic. Necrosis, liquefactive. Wait. That's... Aseptic necrosis. It's the same... Emily, you dumb bunny. Always off playing with the fairies....
Hmph. If Mrs. Barlow could see you, Emily. Just shameful. ...It's this desert air, just sucks the moisture right out of me. I could just... wither... And... Blow away.
...goodness. ...how Easterman makes heads or tails of this. Hmm. Just terrible, these Frenches.
(Humming) ( 2 ) ( 3 )
Tsk tsk. Everything falls apart. You turn away for justa moment and... bedlam.
Like chalk. You don't even like them, you never did.
You'll catch more flies with honey, Emily. There we go. Such a pretty girl. Light as a feather. Not a care in the world.
Just filthy. Shameful.
Everybody gets their place. Now we're all happy. Now we all know where we belong.
Oh, yes, sir. Well they have to sleep sometime, don't they? Oh, sir, you're possitively wicked. Yes. Yes, sir, right away. Oh, even more than that. I think you could call it a miracle. Thank you sir.

7 Dr. Easterman just wants to make you better. Don't go listening to... To fairy stories about some clever girl. You have to take care of yourself. Lies are like poison for your brain.
8 If you hear anything about this little rat, you should tell a doctor. Or a scientist. Or me! You could tell me, just anybody who could tell Dr. Easterman. So he can make sure you're safe.
10 I've heard Reagents. Other Reagents, not well-behaved Reagents like you. But other Reagents saying this little rat's name is Amelia. I don't like the sound of that at all. That's like a name for a snake, or some... foreigner pretending to be American.
11 If you're having trouble ignoring this Amelia business, maybe you could medicate yourself until you're feeling more optimistic about your time here.
13 What if this escape foolishness isn't foolishness at all? What if this is all part of Easterman's plan? I mean, we all knew Dr. Easterman is wonderful, but what if he's so clever even Murkoff doesn't know everything he's up to?
17 Think about how terrible it would be if you were able to leave before you were ready. It would be like pulling a cake out of the oven half-baked. You'd be a wet, hot mess, a total waste. It would be awful.
18 You wouldn't want to go outside without your doctor's permission, would you? Can you think how awful it would be to burn in the sun? To have no-one to take care of you? Nobody would love you out there.
