Staked out working place of known associate of Franco Barbi, a prostitute only identified by her nom de guerre, "Honey Island Jenny." After three hours watching airplane traffic, screams heard inside hotel at 3:44am. Desk Clerk responding to noise complaints encountered fleeing room; (Desk Clerk currently being held as witness, will either be volunteered for Sinyala or die in accident.)

Franco's associate Jenny found dead. No initial sign of Franco on the premises, though his clothing, weapons, and personal affects were present. As, it turned out, was Franco. He managed to hide himself inside/underneath Honey Island Jenny's corpse, and ambushed me before I could phone the regional office. Altercation resulted in injuries to my hand, skull, and leg."
