Mr. Baranczyk-
You've seen the results of our Toxic Shock program. (I was not consulted in the name; I would have offered notes.) A Dr. Jun Kusamura, lent to us from the Agency, was a key consultant in the project and has made multiple requests for an audience with Dr. Wernicke. We've had difficulty in translation with Dr. Kusamura; either the words for "spiritual" and "psychosomatic" are interchangable in Japanese, or the doctor is confused. In either case, he's proposing that the remarkable efficacy of placebos in Toxic Shock has a provocative overlap with the work at Wernicke's dream lab.
He'll be arriving in Los Alamos on Tuesday, please make the necessary introductions. And I would advise extra security, both in Kusamura's immediate area, and any objects (especially food/drink) he has had access to. Kusamura does tend to indulge his hobbies.
