PRIVATE CORRESPONDENCE BETWEEN A. BRADLEY AVELLANOS AND JAMESON LAWLER (CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE)
(heading removed)
Dear Jameson,
Nobody ever said progress would be clean and easy. Don't lose your nerve now. The San Antonio incident was regrettable, but please think of it as a speedbump in the road.
As we've learned before, so long as the public has somebody to hang, they won't get too curious.
This doesn't have to happen again, as you should be well aware. Sinyala solves this, and any issues that could arrive in the future.
If we keep this in-house, if we control the environment entirely, we can minimize the potential for "speedbumps" and easily keep any that arise from the public view.
It's only a matter of money, and Murkoff has made a very reasonable proposal for how it can be sourced outside Congressional approval. Please be prompt in your reply.
A. Bradley"
