TRANSCRIPTION OF INTERVIEW, A. BRADLEY AND MOSES SCARFIOTTI.
(heading removed)
[minutes 13-16]
SCARFIOTTI: Have you been?
BRADLEY: I don't have children.
SCARFIOTTI: That's[sic] doesn't matter at all, you have to go. It's the future. I mean, if we have a future. My (Inaudible) kept telling me to go, and finally...
BRADLEY: Helliwell?
SCARFIOTTI: Correct, Disneyland, it's like (inaudible) coin sorter. It's behavioral architecture. The space moves people through it, the shapes instruct people how to behave. It doesn't matter what you think you want, just being in Disneyland erases whoever you woke up as this morning. It says: "Now be patient, now be delighted, now be hungry, now be covetous, now be compliant." It's wonderful. I've never seen so many happy people.
BRADLEY: And you feel you understood the principal of how Mr. Disney achieved all of this?
SCARFIOTTI: Correct. It's so clear once you've seen it. There were hints of this in Germany. It's like a cathedral built by Edward Bernays. You don't mind if I smoke?
BRADLEY: I'll have one. Did you watch the trial?
SCARFIOTTI: McCarthy?
BRADLEY: (inaudible)
SCARFIOTTI: Yes. Well. I try not to get involved in politics."
