Trivia[]
- Approaching the blocked exits in various halls will trigger various NPC dialogues discussing the Trials, Reagents, other staff, and events.
- The Sleep Room have three denizens: Emily Barlow, Cornelius Noakes, and Dorris. Each of them have various dialogues if you approach them.
- The Snitch can be seen transported away when observing the window between the Return Shuttles and Pharmacy.
- Wernicke has been stated to oversee the Reagents in the Sleep Room and even participates in their paralytic trauma therapy. [2]
- The guard that talks when Reagents approaches the Reborn Entrance is voiced by Outlast series writer JT Petty.
- When looking at the observation room as the trial countdown happens, the player can see one of the scientist announcing the shuttle is ready.
- When Reagents reach the third round of Stroop Test, it will start displaying disturbing images briefly.
- In the arm wrestling table, one of five carved names can spawn randomly. Those names are based on real players who had achieved the highest wins on arm wrestling from this game.
- Small randomly distributed graffiti can be found on the walls of the sleep room:
- Three are short phrases without much further context:
- "I'm free"
- "Crabs in a bucket"
- "Hear no evil"
- Two are bible verses:
- "Luke 11:14": "He was driving out a demon [that was] mute, and when the demon had gone out, the mute person spoke and the crowds were amazed"
- "Matthew 12:43": "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none"
- One notable graffiti is that of the "Kilroy was here" tag. It is a meme that was popularised during World War Two; the cartoon was carved or drawn on the walls of places where (US Army) soldiers were stationed. The Sleep Room version appears without the typical "Kilroy was here" quote that would usually accompany the figure. Instead, the sentence "Kill me was here"or "Wot, No Coffee?" take its place, with the latter commenting on the Sleep Room's strict substance control conditions - the use of "Wot, No [...]?" also being a phrase associated with the meme.
