AVELLANOS: Any potential Murkoff employee gets a thorough background check. Dr. Easterman's brother had two prior suicide attempts Hendrick didn't even know about. Still doesn't know about.
LAWLER: What?
AVELLANOS: Stanley was a mess, a total bag of cats, just like his and Hendrick's mother. Mother Easterman hid Stanley's suicide attempts from Hendrick, her fragile, golden boy. Though by that point the damage was done. We found medical records that both boys experienced "accute[sic] localized alopecia" until they left home. But it was their mother, yanking postage-stamp sized patches of scalp out by the hair. What passed for discipline in the Easterman household.
LAWLER: How did you find that?
AVELLANOS: Our Collections Department is very thorough. We're not hampered by your agency's restrictions."
