Thalium in the pocket of my work coat! I found it this evening, in the coat I passed out in after the New Years' party. A little more than a gram of Thalium somebody slipped into my pocket at the party. Now the hair loss makes sense. I have been poisoned. Is this Gottlieb's idea of a prank? Or Scarfietti's? Even Miss Barlow or one of the othe[sic] members of our service staff could have access to thalium. Enemies on all sides.
I am just returned from compounding Prussian Blue to leach the poisons from my system. My beautiful hair."
